Here's How To Get Started

FAQs

Cogo has been shown to improve attention function for children aged 6 - 12 years old. If you find that your child displays inattentive tendencies such as a lack of focus or can’t concentrate, this programme will be suitable for your child. Try QuickScreen to get an indication if your child is demonstrating inattentive and/or hyperactive tendencies.
Yes, Cogo was developed out of a decade’s worth of clinical trials which showed significant improvements in children with attention difficulties. Aside from exhibiting better results in their assessments, there were improvements in their brain activity scans as well. Check out the published papers below or on the Science tab.

There are 24 sessions in the Cogo programme that your child will need to complete. It is recommended that your child commits to 2 – 3 times a week over a 2 – 3 months' timeframe to ensure the best results as supported by our clinical trials.

Cogo can be used on Android or iOS tablets with the following specifications:

  • Bluetooth 5
  • Minimum of 4GB RAM
  • Apple iOS 13.0 and above or Android OS 11

The activities in the Cogo are set to be completed in 30 minutes. Once a session is completed, the child will not be able to repeat the game nor will they be able to move forward until their next training session.

Your child may or may not experience slight headaches and dizziness. Rest assured that these are very minimal cases reported when a child is going through attention training. Most of the time, participants feel better and can carry on after taking a short break.

We recommend parents to play an active role during their child’s attention training programme.

Parents will be responsible for scheduling their child’s training sessions, ensuring there is a conducive environment for the training to take place and giving appropriate encouragement and motivation for session completion.

For every session completed, you will be able to view your child’s brain and game score on the post-session statistics and tracker on the app. Additionally, you will be able to gauge your child’s performance for that completed session by an attention graph and the distance travelled by the avatar.

Upon completing the 6th, 12th, 18th and 24th session, you will receive an email with a report of how your child is progressing so far in the training programme.

Our clinical trials have shown that the benefits of the programme are evident even after its completion. Brain scans were done on participants, and we found increased and continued activity in areas of the brain that controls attention functions, even 8 weeks after programme completion.
