Last weekend, one of Neeuro’s game developers, Maekell, took part in the Global Game Jam 2017. The Global Game Jam is the world’s largest ‘hackathon’ focused on game development, held concurrently worldwide.
We’d like to congratulate Maekell and his team for their outstanding performance in the event, where they emerged with the Judges’ Choice Award for their game, Ketchup Catch-Up!
When asked how his experiences working in game development has helped in the creation of Ketchup Catch-Up, Maekell said “Working with Neeuro’s projects trained my mind to create simple but powerful games. I learned that it’s not about the idea but it’s all about execution. Most of the time, it’s not the gameplay idea that makes the game enjoyable. It’s the feel the players get when playing the game.”
