Awesome news! Memorie, the app that helps you keep your mind sharp through games that train cognitive skills like attention, memory, and decision-making, has gone through some uber cool updates. Bound to enhance your brain training experience and give you better insights into your brain performance, some new features include recording functions to monitor brain wave activity, personalised training programmes, and five new languages that you can play in. It’s time to turn on your SenzeBand and get that mental workout going!
1. PERSONALISED TRAINING PROGRAMMES
We’ve added a completely new feature in Memorie that lets you take cognitive assessments. When starting out, you’ll be put through a pre-training assessment to let you understand your cognitive strengths and weaknesses. You will then be given a personalised training programme that lets you focus on the areas you are weakest at. Play to a pre-selected schedule of games specific to the cognitive area for a period that may last between two, four, or eight weeks. After the training programme is completed, you can take a post-training assessment for a comparison of your pre-training and post-training assessment scores to see if you’ve made some improvements.
To access the Training Programme, go to Memorie’s main page and tap on Training on the bottom left of the screen.
2. UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH OF YOUR BRAIN IS BEING EXERCISED
Under the Know Your Mind feature in the Analytics page, you can now view real-time readings of your levels of Mental Workload. Your Mental Workload increases when your brain processes information and you put more ‘mental effort’ into completing different tasks and challenges.
3. MONITOR YOUR MENTAL STATES WITH THE NEW BRAIN WAVE RECORDING FUNCTION
Additionally, the Know Your Mind feature includes a new function that lets you record and playback the readings under Mental State, EEG Frequency Band and EEG Signal sections over a period of 100 seconds.
Simply wear your SenzeBand and tap the circular recording button on the top right of the page. Once done, stop the recording and press play to playback the readings you’ve just recorded! This feature is great if you want to monitor how mental challenges or activities such as meditation or listening to music may affect or change your mental states.
4. UNDERSTAND HOW YOUR MENTAL STATES CHANGE OVER YOUR CURRENT GAME
Understand how your state of mind is affected by your surroundings and the challenges in each game through new metrics that lets you view your mental states as you play. This feature lets you know when distractions or lack of focus and mental effort potentially hindered your scores.
During any game, tap on the SenzeBand status on the top-left, and view your real-time Attention and Mental Workload mental states. In the results page after a game, tap on Brain Score for an overview of your mental states over the current game, compared to the events on the timeline.
5. BREAKDOWN OF GAME, BEHAVIOUR AND BRAIN SCORES
Now that you know how your Brain Score was measured during the game, what about Game and Behaviour Scores? Tap on your Game Score and Behaviour Score after you’ve played a game. These new sections give you a clear breakdown of how these scores were calculated.
6. FIVE NEW LANGUAGES
Last but not least, you can now play Memorie games in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Thai. From Settings, tap on Languages, and choose your desired language to play in.
